DaKine Food House- Bamboo Restaurant-Kapa'au, Hawaii 2007

The Historic Bamboo Restaurant & Bar is a fantastic place to go for lunch or dinner. The Bamboo Restaurant is located on the Big Island of Hawi, up on the north side of the island in the Kohala district in the little town of Hawaii. Dinner entrees run from $9.95 to $20.00. On weekends, live music is an added extra bonus. Especially when you can catch great slack key musicians like John Keawe, who lives nearby and is also a Hoku award winner.

You just can not visit the Big Island of Hawaii and take an around the island tour without stopping by the Bamboo Restaurant. They also have a great gallery with lots of nice quality hand made Hawaiian style crafts like quilts, koa wood boxes, and fine art. Be sure to stop by.

Located in Hawi, Hawaii.
